I can't use my desktop computer anymore to post listings on eBay. I have been an eBay seller for 6 years now, and suddenly during the past 6 weeks or so, I have been losing my ability to perform many of the routine tasks that are part and parcel of running my business. The last 2 things to go were my ability to post or retrieve pictures, and my ability to refund a customer from my Paypal account even though there was plenty of money in there. As of today, I can no longer list or relist any items using the computer I have used for the past 6 years. I am told that eBay has "updated" its software. Well, thank you eBay, you have updated me out of being able to sell on eBay. Very impressive!

eBay's software is the same as all other members use. I underline software because mostly the software is on our end (browser). Members do not interact with eBay's software directly.
Our browsers requests info from eBay's file servers, which is sent back to our browser for display (no one visits a website, the website comes to you).
You might take a look at your browser, instead of blaming eBay.
Sign out of eBay. Delete your browser history, and delete cookies.
If you are on a Windows XP machine, your op system drastically needs to be upgraded to at least Win 7. The security protocol that is common for https these days is limited for XP machines.
It never hurts at this point to run virus and malware scans. Reboot.
Now sign back on to eBay.
