eBay International Shipping Program Issue

I have been enrolled and have shipped more than 500+ orders of the same exact item and same size box/weight since February 2023. Then randomly did why but on September 1st I updated my listing buy it now price and saved it and now all of a sudden my listings do not show up for international buyers even though I am enrolled currently in eBay International and had international orders sold the last week of August.

Please someone help me! I have talked with 3 eBay reps by phone 2 reps by Twitter DM and 1 by email and all have said they would get back to me in 24-48 hours and that was 10 days ago.

I have been waiting for about two weeks for a response but I know it is not going to happen.

Can you open your listing and do a screen shot on the Shipping Section to show how you have your settings?

Assuming there haven't been returns or claims filed on those other sales? Also assuming your packages meet size/weight criteria since you've shipped a lot.

Sellers must meet all eligibility criteria (items located in US, seller registered in US, above standard rating, low/avg service metrics, policy compliant). Read more on the help page:

Item or category could be restricted either by general restrictions like hazmat, or by country-specific import restrictions. If none of that is relevant @kicks239 , then your problem is most likely some kind of limit being placed on your account. There's fine print in the help pages and terms of service that says eBay can restrict sellers, and there was a different discussion on this forum where an eBay rep confirmed some sellers' items are restricted based on value ($2,500 in help pages is the program max, but not necessarily an individual seller's max limit).

Help page fine print tells us eBay can place any level of restriction based on undefined performance standards:

"Transaction limits may apply to some accounts." which is very vague and "eBay may also require that you meet certain minimum performance standards before making your listings available to Buyers through the Program."

Many features on eBay operate under similar types of restrictions: promoted listings, seller protections, listing limits, etc. As with many policies, eBay doesn't publish specific details so sellers can't skirt around the restrictions.

Here is a little more detail for you and hopefully with it you can tell me what I need to do.

I have been part of the eBay international shipping program or eIS for short since February 2023. Since being enrolled I have not had any issues at all selling or shipping to either hub. I have sold around $80k using the eIS program alone this year and about 500 transactions. As you can see in my photos I have all my settings set correctly, my account is not restricted in any way and my listing meets all the standard eIS package and international laws for shipping. My order is under the $2,500 requirement and does not exceed 48 inches in length, and 84 inches in girth. My account shows I am currently enrolled in the eIS program. I'm literally at a loss on this one and clearly, eBay is too because I have tried to reach out to more than 5 eBay reps and everyone has not been able to figure out why my listings wont show to international buyers.

I do not see anything wrong with the way your shipping is set.  I believe mine is set the same as yours. With myself I am not able to use the eBay International Shipping for auctions.  A short time ago there was a poster who the eBay International Shipping worked for auctions but did not work for Buy It Now.

eBay is such a giant computer program that I think everyone is not getting the same access to the program.  It is like some people have access to use a function and other people are turned off from using that same function.  Some things are easy as they can see a button is turned on or off and other times no one has a clue why something is not working.

What I did on my auctions was to select USPS as the International Shipper on the Auctions.  I would like to use Pirate Ship as they are much cheaper than eBay and the USPS but in order to use Pirate Ship I would have to use a Flat Rate for International Shipping and that is hard to estimate for International.

Did you get it working?

I still do not have it working.  It shows I have eBay International Shipping in the policy but it is not offered in the listing.  It is strange as I see other people with auctions and they have the shipping available.   I also see some other Auctions who also offer had to offer the USPS International.

Only thing I can figure is eBay has the option turned off for me.  They mentioned with the program begun that it would be offered to some and slowly phase it in for everyone.  Why does my But It Now have it available but not my Auctions?  There is obviously a switch that turns the option on and off.  

If you could actually talk to someone in the shipping department they could check the settings.  The problem dealing with eBay is it is near impossible to get help on a matter such as this.

Honestly, it's all so exhausting and I'm over trying to make eBay a steady source of income. Today marks day number 40 since I first reached out to eBay by phone and mentioned my issue to an eBay rep. 40 days later and probably 20+ eBay customer service reps I tried to explain what my issue is and I'm still in the same exact place I was when I made the first attempt to tell eBay about my issue. This will probably get taken down or removed but at this point idc because eBay has proven very useless for me in the time I needed them most. Some people may say this comment is racist or disrespectful at this point idc. eBay has proven useless to me in the time I needed them most. I call it how it is point blank and idc if it hurts your feelings. But you know the #1 problem that I have with eBay. It's a sole fact that just because I decide to only pay for the basic store subscription that my issues are not worth enough as someone who pays that anchor store subscription price which means because I can't afford to pay that high monthly subscription Im stuck with the dilemma of attempting to explain my complex issues over the phone with a newly hired eBay customer service rep who does not speak fluent English and cant understand what I am even trying to tell them is happening. 9/10 times when I have a issue and need to call in I on average will have to make 2/4 calls and explain my issue or tell them I need a ticket for something put in and they have no clue what I am even asking for them to do and there is literally nothing I hate more than on eBay is me trying to get help by customer support but that person does not speak **bleep** English.

Something is very strange!

If I go to your store ebay shows you only have 178 items for sale. If I click see other items I still only see 178 items, however the buying format filter shows all listings (1,371) listings. 115 auctions, 1256 Buy it now. There is something bigger going on than just eIS issues!

I am also noticing that some of my listings are hidden from buyers!!!

I hope I am mistaken!

I am also noticing that 24 of your listings appear hidden. I see 60 searchable but "All Buying Formats" Says you have 84 listings. Shipping set to a US zip code.

A couple of days ago I had a scheduled International Sale that I need shipping for.  No guidance from eBay so yesterday I had to use a different shipping company for this shipment.  It is frustrating that the additional 1.65% fee of $4.40 that would have been waiver is billed to me and now I have to worry about this shipment for three to six weeks.  In addition to saving the extra fee I really like the idea of item arriving to the eBay re-shipper and not having to worry about it any longer.

Supposedly a Ticket was created on my behalf.  There is a specific office within eBay that deals with shipping issues and when they choose, they can email you.  I find it hard to accept that there are so many shipping issues to resolve that there is no time to send a courtesy reply base on the Ticket that was supposedly created on my behalf.

eBay system did offer the shipping that was supposedly ended already on Sept 1st.

Thanks for the concern but everything is correct with my account.

A listing can have multiple quantities.  It is two different things.  You can have a Listing with one item or you can have multiple Items in a Listing.  You can have more items then Listings but you will  never have more Listings then Items.

Yes this is very possible.  Two things I know of will cause this and there may be more.

If you have the same exact Description in the Title the system will only display one but the others will be setting there unviewable.  If the one shown is sold then it frees up one of the hidden ones.

If your shipping is set to restrict shipping to certain areas these these will be hidden from people in those areas.  It is possible to have different shipping restrictions for each listing.

If you items are exactly the same you can use the Multi-Quantity Listings to put them into one listing where it will show something like 2 Sold 8 Available.

If your items are different then you need to change the Title of the Listing so that it is not the same as another Listing.

I do not think you understood what I am trying to tell you about your listings. It appears that about 1,200 of your listings are hidden. eBay search will only let buyers search 179 of your listings but shows that all buying formats you have 1,383 listings total. If you only have 179 active listing then there is nothing to worry about but if you have more than 179 listings something is wrong with your account. I am in the US and I am trying different ship to zip codes so unless you are blocking sales within the US somehow something is wrong with your listings.

Just a thought, have you updated your shipping policies to Ground Advantage?

My listings (not on this account) do not show up in the duplicate listings filter. I have hunted for them but cannot figure out which two out of 500+ are hidden so I am not too worried about it.

That same thing happened to me selling some eye drops. They are considered prescription in some countries. Then all of a sudden after updating NY listing they started deleting my listings. Saying this isn't allowed in Canada. I asked them why would ebay even put it on the Canadian ebays page then because I can't possibility know what other countries ban this. Then I made another listing saying no Canadian delivery Then it was for another country and it went down. So I either have to cancel international shipping for the item or investigate what countries have it as a prescription . I get Then all the time in the pallets I buy and they sell well but not enough to do all that research. I even asked ebay wouldn't  it be more simple for you to just not put it on there sites or not showing it to buyers of the county.
