Unable to select PayPal during checkout

I'm trying to use a prepaid card loaded into my paypal wallet to buy a gift card but no matter what I do, It won't allow me to select paypal. It errors out and tells me to use debit card, but then I can't use the pre-paid card either. SUPER FRUSTRATING

Is it a prepaid credit card  like Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express?

I think those are the only logos paypal accepts for prepaid cards.

Never mind that question. I see another post where you said it is a prepaid Visa but there is not enough balance on it to pay for the gift card and you wanted to split payments between different cards...that looks like the problem. I don't think you can split up a payment like that.

"I have a prepaid visa card added to my paypal wallet that I'm trying to buy an EBAY gift card with so I can buy an item and split it between cards because the item is more than my pre-paid card....but no, can't get ebay and paypal to work right now. jsut fails"
