I’ve always been able to tap on the tracking links included with each of my purchases to obtain the tracking info. Suddenly, these links won’t work. I’ve tried clearing history, re-starting....what else can I try? I have a new iPad. (The tracking links still work on my iPhone.) I don’t understand why the links on my iPad won’t work anymore. Thanks kindly for any help/suggestions.

Try a using different browser, particularly if you are using Safari.
You might try viewing those links in the individual order details or on the Summary page.

Thanks kindly for taking the time to respond to my query. I can access the links on My Summary page, so I’ll do that from now on. But.....why did it have to change? It was working fine the old way!!😆

Either eBay has changed something to do with the links, or Apple has changed something to do with the Safari browser. Or possibly both. Likely each side will point fingers at the other for not following some established standard practice, or not adopting the new standard practice that one side now prefers.

From a Seller stand-point, this happens when the original shipping label is voided, usually due to a mistake on our end that we catch and have to adjust the something on the label. We void our first one and reship under a different tracking number. eBay will automatically update the first tracking number but will not update the second on your order. We must manually adjust tracking within the order.
I would try reaching out to the seller just to confirm everything is OK. Had there been any movement in your original tracking number?

Yes, there has been movement on all of my eBay packages. I just can’t track that movement by clicking on the blue links provided for each shipment. The blue links don’t work if I try them on the My Purchases page, but they do work on the My Summary page. Just wish things that had been working fine didn’t have to stop working fine, haha. Small small little pebble in the big road of life, certainly.
I’m going with what eburtonlab suggested - some sort of tech-y glitch between eBay and apple.
