Store logo replace with message from Photobucket.com

Help!

My store logo has been replaced with a message supposedly from Photobucket.com, see below.  I went to the website, but don't trust downloading. Don't know what this is. When I go to manage my store, but logo is there. I tried deleted it and downloading again.  Can anyone help me. And why is there no way to contact eBay about this type of issue? Their customer service exasperates me!!!

Clearly you have not paid the $400 yearly ransom to Photobucket. That pic is real.

You store logo must be hosted on Photobucket. It needs to be hosted somewhere else unless you're willing to cave into PB ransom demands.

Google "Photobucket Ransom" and read all about it.

This is the closest match thread I could find about stores and PB:

It looks like your store logo was created by someone else and was probably stored on that other person's Photobucket account.  If that is not your Photobucket account, there is nothing you can do but remove the broken graphics from your store header.

Eventually, eBay will probably move all sellers to the new "mobile friendly" store format and you'll need a new store header to fit the new store anyway. So you might want to proactively find something else for your store banner, or just return to the default eBay store banner. With the eBay default, you can upload an image that is 310x90 and eBay will host it for you.

Thanks so much for your reply! I buy the logo from someone a long time ago and can't find who it is. Any idea where I can get technical assistance on this? I have remove the logo in manage my store, but it doesn't remove the header.  Think my store page is messed up. Years ago I was able to speak to someone about changing the font on my store categories and they weren't able to do it. So I gave up. But the header looks bad.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply.

I don't have a store to advise, but I did find these instructions on an old eBay page:

  1. Go to the "Manage your Store" form.
  2. Click 'Display Settings' on the left side of the page.
  3. Scroll down to the "Additional Store header information" section.
  4. Click the radial button to add "Yes, include additional information in my header.
  5. Click the View/Edit HTML check box.
  6. Paste in your generated HTML.

Perhaps someone who still has the old store format might have better instructions.
