Search and View Item NOT showing Shipping cost????

Item 183816731464 does not show a cost for shipping in search, on the item page or the shipping details tab of the shipping page.  Why not?  I've triple checked and I have shipping services selected, package size and weight are present.

Buyer is waiting.

Another "glitch" that may cost me a sale.

followup, after hitting revise listing and reviewing the settings, I saved it, no changes and now the shipping shows.  More eBay "issues".  Will the next buyer msg me or just back out and move on?

This really makes me burn, stupid bugs like this that could well be costing me sales.  I don't have time to view all my listings one by one by one to figure out which ones are messed up.  Thanks Ebay, really nice.

Hi @dtexley3 - are you logged into your account while searching for your items? That can throw a wrench in things.

I'm seeing a shipping charge on them when I search by title for your items (screenshots below).

In addition to what Tyler said (searching by title), I'm also able to see the shipping charges when I search with the item ids you shared:

I too see shipping costs for those two item in search and in the listings with no problem. (unless you fixed those 2 listings since you posted it isn't universal)

If they are not showing a shipping cost in the listings themselves, then probably also not in search, so looking at search should tell you which ones are wonky.

At 200 per page to view all your 885 items in search you get 45 pages of results:

I could modify the Ranged Price search filter bookmarklet to disappear all search results that have a shipping cost or Free shipping specified, but I'd have to know what to target, and I can't replicate the fail to see how search pages that are not showing some shipping costs are structured.

The method would be klunky - have to do the above search, click the bookmarklet, see if any without shipping costs are left there, and rinse and repeat 4 more times for pages 2-5 of the results. But better than visual scanning. Unfortunately, as I said, I can't target what I can't see, so a pipe dream.


This is an odd thing. Maybe you should try a different browser when you run across one and see if that makes a difference.

IIRC, when search results are sorted by "Price + Shipping: Lowest first" or highest first, the listings that lack a shipping cost show up at the bottom of the list. Sorting those ways and going straight to the final page, I see no listings that lack a shipping cost.

I played with the filters a bit, but abandoned that line of thought when I realized it probably wouldn't produce the needed results since it's Price + Shipping lowest first not Shipping lowest first, but maybe it does. As you say, none of OP's listings are showing no shipping cost, so can't check. (Maybe OP can if still seeing some with no cost.)

I still lean towards the more difficult, convoluted, less effective, harder to use software solution though

Yeah, that's why I said "IIRC," since I couldn't test it.  But if memory serves, the listings that have no shipping cost are placed at the bottom of the search results when you sort by either of the options that include shipping cost.
