Mine was filling in M&M as the brand and the color Blue was showing up as the cartoon character Blue. lol. I have had corrupted photos, as well. Now some of my photos are reverting to old photos. I heard about someone who had photos in their listing that weren't actually the sellers pics of the item. Fun times. Lol. It will get worked out 🙂

The "ALL ORDERS" search is not forking properly for years. If you trying to search something in "all orders", the landing page with the result will be changed to "Awaiting shipment". You're trying again, the landing page with the results will be in "Awaiting payment".

I've brought this issue to your unknowledgeable customer support and they don't know and understand what I am talking about due to poor training. I am talking about concierge too. It's very hard to communicate with someone why have no knowledge about a Seller Hub. All they do is to tell you "to clear your cache". Ya, right.

I have been experiencing the same problem, under a sub-section of Toys and Hobbies - which DID NOT get affected by the item specifics change.

 

My items had routinely appeared under a 'saved search' of a general item description, but since the Oct 15 update THEY ARE NO LONGER VISIBLE.  Other vendor's items WITH THE SAME OR SIMILAR TITLE are intermittently popping up...but not my listings.

 

This is under Toys and Hobbies, Model Railroads & Trains, O Scale, Parts & Accessories, Parts and Spares.

I hope you can get to the bottom of this!

I am currently using the "free" additional fixed price listings and it seems that multiple items are receiving little to no views. This was a major problem a few months ago. What's the point of item specifics if the items aren't being seen by buyers. Also I have been trying to add in "additional item specifics" but they don't seem to end. i.e I update a listing requiring 4 updates and 4 more show up. This is ridiculously frustrating, esp during q4. If Ebay has been hacked, just come out and say it so we can all move on!

My sales are reported incorrectly. Each of my sales in the past 31 days is reported with a sales price too high. For example I sold 3 different lots of TV Guides to one buyer. The total was about $139, however each is reported as about $189 for each lot.  Another single TV guide sold for $10.51 however the Seller Hub indicates it was sold for $19.99. Each of my sales is incorrect. The shipping is also incorrect, that is another issue.

When will this be corrected?

OK, I am done here...I listed a never listed RL Sports coat in Clothing, Suit Jackets on Saturday, 10/26 just to see what I would be up against. The sizing gave me Women's choices in the XL ranges (4,5,6,7,8,9,10XLs) with no other size options. I ignored and added a custom specific of Large. It took it, it listed. Immediately viewed the actual Listing while signed out and into ebay to see what buyers would see, it says Large. Today, 10/27? Just now? It says 10XL. I went in and just revised it to a size of 44 (that choice was not there yesterday). And had to "remove" the 10XL as that was in a different box with notation I could remove.

 

THIS PIECE MEALING OF SPECIFICS ALMOST ON A DAILY BASIS HAS TO STOP!!!!!!!! I cannot go through this every day and minute of my life! Sellers out there: go ahead and do your new listings/revisions using what ebay says works..once accepted and live, print out or screenshot your listing right away...then go in the next day and see what you get. Just carp. This is ruining search and ruining buyers seeing anything that is correct. Suppose a buyer (stupidly) saw that 10XL and it sold? I would most certainly get a SNAD for the wrong information.

 

Ebay puts on all listings "listing is responsibility of the seller." THAT NEEDS TO BE REVISED AND CHANGED TO "EBAY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS LISTING."  Mega Rant here is Over. Apologize if I am offending anyone here, but yah know, you all need to be highly offended that this is happening on a daily basis and before the Holidays.

General Comment:

 

What is also happening is if the AI doesn't recognize what you choose, it is just dumping into whatever IS they "think" they understand...just so your listing goes up. Like "unspecified."

Sure. Ebay arbitrarily changed the "material" item specific on my wool Pendleton blazer to...wait for it...WOOD! Yes, wood. Now that's helpful.

General Comment (again to me):

 

So I now newly list a sports coat blazer just now which I list in Clothing, Mens, Jackets/Vests. So all goes well. I list it through my Program and get warnings from eBay AGAIN, although it says you can list but fix these areas:

 

Insulation Material (already filled in Not applicable).

Department (this on is a killer since you list in Men's, no need for this "department" which lists out genders)

Model

Occasion

Water Resistance

Warmth Weight (already filled in previously Lightweight)

Vintage (probably because I have the word Vintage in my title or my description).

 

Granted, my listing program Guru is NOT going to make any changes to my program until eBay gets their act together, but just realize the above elements are not required. Oh...sorry, for size? a whole bunch of gobbley **bleep** so just did my usual Custom add of the size in inches. 

 

Trust me, it will all be changed tomorrow. Just did a print out of what ebay accepted as of today.

I have never used the Global Shipping Program. Many of my listings had the GSP box checked so I bulk edited every item to disable that choice. Now some of my listings still have it as an option.  I'd like you to know that I am moving all clothing items to other platforms. In addition, I have contacted The Verge and asked them to do a story on this problem. While I had initial patience with the problems you  created -  after all, change is rarely a smooth process - I am now to the point of being beyond frustrated because you are affecting my livelihood.

These are not "glitches." Please stop patronizing us by using that term. Glitches are defined as a sudden, usually temporary malfunction or irregularity of equipment. This is a systemic problem that seems to not have a quick fix. In the meantime, your sellers are losing thousands and thousands of dollars and we are what your company is based on. It's time that this issue became public. Maybe that will drive some much needed change on this platform.

Please compensate your sellers for wasting our valuable time and effort due to your wrong doing. We are not here to make donations for the stores we pay for monthly. Why are we having to fix your problems that have been created by you.  You guys have really screwed it up this time bad. Sellers are leaving to other platform yet it seems you really don't care. Soon enough you will see that no one believe what you keep posting. For example, telling everyone is their bank and not the payment system you have implemented. Which we now know it was a lie & you got caught.  This is poor business practice and its unacceptable to the highest regard of anyone doing business. You are not providing what you stated on the agreement we agreed on.
