Why am I seeing Chinese writing on Ebay USA when I go to the Ebay homepage?

Try checking to make sure you are actually on ebay.com and not ebay.cn or another site.

Try holding down the shift key and refreshing the page. Sometimes a glitch can cause a language identification error. Reloading the page and bypassing the cache often helps.

If not, try a different browser to see if that makes any difference.

This happens to me every so often, after opening a email from a Chinese customer, on occasion it takes me to a Chinese Ebay Login Page.  All in Mandarin for some reason. I usually just close the tab and attempt again.
