Not a secure connection?

Why is EBAY NOT SECURE?

I just registered a new account - but still, it only shows the Security Lock in Chrome on the sign in page.. After that, it's not a secure connection... What is going on? No it is not my computer. I want to purchase a phone.. what should I do to be safe?

Was wondering is this why i read just about every day about an account hacked?

your connection to this site is not private. information you submit could be viewed by others( like passwords messages and credit card)etc  REALLY?

You will see a security lock during the sign in and checkout pages. eBay is moving to make all of it's pages "secure".  Before they made this decision, eBay did not consider most of their pages to have sensitive content, and most do not. But since members have been asking for all pages to be secure, eBay is making the changes to do so.

Well My personal info page says not secure , MY ebay says not secure...Yes they may want to fix all pages........This is crazy
