Items with bids going to 'not sold'

I just had 4 auctions end all with bids. 3 of the 4 went to the 'not sold' area at the end of the auction. I did not have reserves on any of them. Whats going on here? It won't even let me message the winner. This is a huge aggravation and it needs to be fixed.
