Items not chosen shows up in the cart for purchase. Why?

I have been using eBay for a long time, but recently I am seeing items showing up in my cart that I know I never chose. I have to be sure to delete the item(s) before I make a purchase and get charged for it/them.  Why is this happening? It is very annoying and someone should address this glitch. Thank you in advance for your immediate attention to this important issue.

This also happen to me about 1.5yr ago.  Someone has gotten ahold of your ID & Password from your Internet TV or PC.  They downloaded this info from your PC  I had to have my Password change & secure where E-Bay send me A code to my cell phone EACH time I logon from another Operation System(PC).  The only way they could not pay & get the items was because I DID NOT link my Paypal to automacilly pay for the items.

I have NOT had any more problems since BUT ONCE when I got A code & I WAS NOT trying to logon to E-Bay.  WHO was they?  They DID NOT GET IN!
