I don't know where to look to see if ebay is having technical problems sitewide.
I was looking at my list of items I have for sale and I saw a message indicator on one of my listings but I had not received an email nor was the message indicator highlighted.
When I clicked on respond I did not see any message. I contacted the buyer and told him/her that I cannot see a message and to resend.
I called ebay about this and the person said they would let the technical team know.
Anyone else having this problem?

Having the exact same problem today. Member sent a message about an item for sale, the item is flagged as having an "Unanswered Question", but any attempt to see the sender's message or respond is not working. No errors, just redirects to the general eBay messages inbox page.
One additional diagnostic note -- I tried responding to the sender's question using the eBay app on iPhone and the app actually gave a more helpful error, "Sorry, the message you tried to view has expired and can no longer be displayed."
Please post any help or resolution that find.

Bought an item and tried to reply to the seller when asked about collection, nothing gets through.
Do eBay have a category for this complaint, it seems not from the help section, the least helpful help i've ever had.

I called eBay support and they confirmed there is a technical issue with the site regarding member to member messaging. No ETA given on resolution.
