Forcing of combined item shipping

I, for one, do NOT want eBay forcing combined shipping on me regardless of the method of purchase, whether it be because the buyer added multiple items to the Shopping Cart or any other reason. I don't mind if the capability is THERE, or if it even defaults to that ... but give me a simple, logical interface or link to "Uncombine" or choose to ship individually.

There are any number of reasons why combined shipping is NOT desirable.

The example I gave is ...

I do not want to ship a Faberge Egg along with a Cast Iron Dwarf Gnome.

So ship them in separate boxes.  You have the ability to purchase as many shipping labels are are needed to ship your items.  I frequently will ship larger orders in two boxes even though eBay combined them.   At the other end of the spectrum, if a person buys 2 items that both weigh between 9 and 16 oz, it's far cheaper to send them in two small first class packages than one economy (go figure).

You have the power!  hehehe, just use the manage labels option after printing the first label and purchase/print your second label for the additional box/boxes.

That is exactly what I DID NOT want to do. I did NOT want the items purchased to be combined in any way, shape or form. I want to be able to print indivisual labels for each individual item just exactly as they were listed. I did NOT want "1 of 3", "2 of 3", 3 of 3" or some such.

Apparently ebay think they know best.

They don't. One size does NOT fit all.

Click on one of the items to view the listing, then from that screen try printing a label upper left hand corner there should be a print label option.    It SHOULD take you to the individual label screen.

At the time I was experiencing the issue, this navigation suggestion did not work ... every link on every item took me back to the combined shipping screen.  It was like ALL links were coded to go to the combined shipping label printing screen, and nothing was coded to bring up an individual label screen.
