Ebay app log in problems

I bought an Iphone 15 ProMax and I cannot download the new app or sign in to my ebay account via the app. I deleted the old app and tried to reinstall the latest version but there's an error whyn trying to open the App. it doesn't give you any options, to try and sign in with ID/Password just results in a 'spinning circle' and nothing happens. Opening ebay in safari has the same problem, very frustrating. I've deleted my cache/cookies and it's the same. Is anyone experiencing the same issues? Help needed asap. Very poor  no help available

According to this, eBay has just released a new version of the iOS app (6.137.1) that addresses this issue:

If you have problems getting the new version, try uninstalling the eBay app, restarting your device, then installing it from the App Store.
