Why is it impossible to speak to get real customer support from ebay???

no matter what I do I cant find a way to speak or chat with a real person about my problem. 

I am planning to stop using this site as it does not offer help when there is a problem.

in this case I am unable to get my money back on an item that was successfully canceled. The seller attempted a refund and it failed and they turned it over to me. I cant do anything. They told me to contact ebay support....HOW HOW HOW

there used to be a way, i cant find it. 

When I do go to the "contact us", i get into a loop where I am pointed to articles.

Always had GREAT LUCK with the on-line chat with an agent.  When the site starts giving you choices to click on just keep going down & click on chat with an agent.  Had to use it more than a few times over the years & they were ALWAYS able to settle my issues.  Just don't click on any of their choices except Chat with an agent. The other choices just run you around in a big loop...........Good Luck!

Use the link to the chat assistant. Once the chat window opens, enter "agent" into the chat window. You may need to provide some keywords for context to get connected to the correct department.

If you see options for "Still need help?" or "More options", choosing one of those should lead to a call back option.

If the seller actually canceled the transaction through eBay, the refund is automatic, though how long it takes to be reflected in your statement may depend on your particular bank.
