As of today, I try to reply to an Ebay email from a seller, and I get this response:
This site can’t be reached
rover.ebay.com’s server IP address could not be found.
This has got to be some eBay problem, as I'm not having other issues, only with eBay & this is the FIRST time this has ever happened with eBay. I noticed someone else posted about this, and the response doesn't fit my problem. I go on eBay 99% of the time from our desktop computer, very occasionally from our IPad. This is happening from our desktop. HELP, AND THANKS.

What email program are you using? Have you tried responding in eBay messages?

Google Chrome, and yes I have tried replying directly through eBay messages in eBay & it gives the same message which makes me believe it is an eBay issue--as I don't have any other issues with anything else other than replying to a message in eBay.

Are you able to create a new message (not a reply) by going to the user's feedback or profile page and using the "contact" link there?
Can you reply to a message if you go to your messages page on ebay.ca?

It started working. I'm gonna go out on a limb & say it was an ebay problem cuz like I said no other issues in my Google Chrome.
