"You need to confirm your ID and bank details"

So i did, updated name, address, date of birth, uploaded the docs, authorized and verified the micro transactions only to get the same message again .... and again ... AND AGAIN

over 10 attempts now and still...

"Please upload a valid government ID with information that matches your eBay account."

I done that, with different pictures as suggested by the CS, still getting the same message. I wonder what constitutes "valid government ID" for ebay.

eBay tests my patience harder than anything else

Here is some additional info from another user regarding a similar request in the US:

Presumably you are submitting a government-issued ID from Portugal rather than the US, but the other details about the name matching the name used on eBay and the bank account exactly, date of birth shown, color image, current (not expired) ID, may be relevant to your situation.

Yes i'm using my citizen card from Portugal / Europe but also tried with driver's license and used the EXACT same info, capitalization and used the instructions on the CS e-mail. Other than that, there's no other "government picture ID-card" i can provide.

CS replied like so (replaced real names) :

Please update this details and upload a different ID or picture this time so that the account will again go under the verification*. Go to this link and please update your first name as " first name second name" and Last name as " 3rd name last name ". Please keep the middle name section blank and don't write anything in it.Alos, update your date of birth as per your ID then upload the file."

* how can one provide "a different ID or picture" ? There's one ID card and one driver's license, we don't have multiples of those ....

Take a different picture or scan of the same ID? Perhaps the old picture was not sharp enough, had excessive glare or was the wrong format or size. I think someone suggested using a JPG instead of PDF if the latter is being rejected.

I sympathize, complying with these requests can be maddening when eBay refuses to explain what they are looking for or why exactly the previous submission was not sufficient.
