For a little over 2 days, starting 9/21/2022, I have been unable to send combined invoices. I keep getting the error message, "Something went wrong. Please try again later." My buyers can still make payment through the cart, but in several instances, the shipping charge would be significantly higher without my having the ability to adjust the shipping charge by sending a combined invoice. Also, this could affect the shipping method in some instances. I can refund the overcharge to my customers, but that is a temporary solution. I have tried different browsers, I have cleared the browsers, I have tried different methods of requesting an invoice. Nothing works. I have been on the phone with customer support twice. No solution. Am I the only one suddenly having this issue?

I believe I have read that items that are on sale ("10% off") can not be combined with a shipping discount.
You may want to ask about this on the Selling board where there are many more sellers that have likely run into the same situation that can provide details of how that works in practice.

My items are on sale often. This has never affected my ability to send a combined invoice.

I find it interesting you are having this problem. I am a buyer, and the last 2 times I requested a new total invoice from the seller, I got some message telling me that something went wrong and to try later. Well, I don't want to tie up the cart or lose my item, so I go ahead and pay the total from the cart. Then the seller has to refund me the amount I over-paid. I was told it was my browser....well it's not. I think there must be a glitch and it needs to get fixed.

I have had that issue for OVER 1 Year, My tools listed under Ebay motors and I cannot send a combined shipping invoice. I cant tell you how many times I have called. NOBODY AT EBAY CARES, They claim this is a new and not common problem yet I have friends who sell tools here and they have the same issue.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PLANET
Good luck and just refund them the overpayment
