Hi guys,
We are looking to 'Decapitalise' (change from UPPER to Lower case) all of our Ebay listing titles, and we have tried this (so far unsuccesfully) using File Exchange (CSV).
We downloaded all active listings from File Exchange. We decapitalised in Excel, and then inserted the 'Action' - 'Revise' column in the CSV.
However, when we send up the revised CSV file, no changes seem to have been made to the titles on Ebay..
I'd be so grateful if anyone has a possible solution.
Thanks in advance,
Gary

Look at your upload results file for that csv upload (click on the link in your email notice received from eBay). Any errors that the FileExchange processor encountered will be listed in that file.
Adjust and resubmit your CSV.
There are no rules about caps in titles or description. This is user defined.

For what it's worth ... if you can't find a solution to your issue, there's a handy web app called Convert Case that I sometimes use. It does exactly what you need to do and more, although it would necessitate tedious single listing revision cut & paste operations.
