It seems like you don't exactly understand what this Board is about and its purpose.

This Board is composed of many, many experienced eBay buyers and sellers.  We volunteer our time here to help others and offer advice when we can.

We are not the seller who would not let you buy the printer.  And we have no idea why you couldn't buy it.

And are there not hundreds or even thousands of printers listed on eBay?

The best advice I can offer you is that you go to the ended listing and use the contact seller icon if possible, and ask the seller directly.  As @soh.maryl  mentioned, it's impossible for anyone on this board to know specifically why you were not able to bid on a particular listing.  If the seller does not know why you had a problem, then I'd suggest using the "contact us" Ebay help form to ask an eBay employee in customer service.  Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll find the link under "Help and Contact".  Perhaps they can shed some light on it for you.   Perhaps there is something that needs addressing in your eBay account.  Hopefully you can find another printer for your daughter.
