Advanced, Sold/Completed Items Search

Hey Gang, I have an issue I'm hoping someone can solve for me.

When I search for Lyle Guitars, regular active auctions, it pulls those up fine.

However, when I go to Advanced, and choose Sold/Completed, with Lyle Guitars in the Search box, all I have pulled up are 2 listings where I had SOLD a guitar recently, and it WASN'T a Lyle Guitar, it was a Mike Soares (Soaresy Guitars) 8-string octo-mando Les Paul style guitar.  I've rebooted, logged-out, and back in to Ebay, etc., etc., etc., but I can't get Sold/Completed Lyle Guitars to pull up; anyone know why that is?  Even is I do an Advanced Search for Sold/Completed GIBSON or MARTIN guitars, I still just get that listing I recently sold; weird stuff.

Please advise, if anyone can tell me what .ini or .dll, or whatever configuration file type it is that I can delete to reset?

Thank you,

Andy, a. k. a. "barebackwriter", for 25 years this month.

Advanced, Sold/Completed Items Search

While searching for "Sold/Completed" items on Ebay, in the Advanced section, make sure  you do not have a checkmark in "Specific Seller", with an Ebay members "handle" as the Seller to Search; the return of limited listings matching your search criteria may be just a fragment of the big picture.  My issue had ME as the Seller to search for, for a specifically named guitar, which did me NO good, lol.

It seems I still have to uncheck that box every time I do an Advanced Search, so at some point I'll go into my user profile and see if I accidentally set that option up, where it stays.

Thank you "thrill-seeker".

If you are using Chrome and finding no results when you search using common keywords, go to the Advanced Search page and try searching, and see if your eBay username or email address is being inserted into the Seller field. That would cause your search to only find items you have listed (if any). If that is what is happening, click on that seller field and delete your eBay credentials from Chrome's account manager. You should be able to sign back in to eBay again and save your credentials without triggering this problem again.

Thank you;

I had figured out the issue, but didn't think to remove the auto-fill, as I'm sure that's what is happening.  Thanks again, Visionary, for that corrective advice.

You are very welcome. Glad you were able to sort it out.

This was definitely one of the odder eBay issues I have seen lately.
