1513 embedded in search page

Every time I acces the golf page on eBay the number 1513 is embedded in the search bar.   I can clear it out and hit search but it only works for the first page.  As soon as I go to the next page the "1513" is back as the default search.  Any ideas how to get rid of this?  I've signed out of my account and signed back in and that didn't work.  This started two days ago.

If I'm not mistaken, 1513 is the category number of the golf sub-category you are searching.

Something is definitely not right with the search function after the last round of updates (within the last two weeks or so). Complaints started showing up on the forums this weekend.

In many cases, searches within subcategories are returning correct results, but subsequent searches default to "All Categories" -- indicating that the search function is not passing on the category info. As you noticed, sometimes that category info winds up in the search term field.

Firefox seems to be the least affected browser, but it still shows problems in some searches, including the category number showing up in the search terms.
