There is Midwinter Pottery in the UK. I found some speculation on the internet that this backstamp was from them, but I could not find any confirmation of that, just a question that was not answered. I can't find any evidence that they produced any patterns with this shape, and this mark is not recorded for them. It's possible, but I would say not definite that it was from them.

I typed the text into google, and it *might* be Norwegian, but Englesk means "England" in Danish too.
If it's Danish, and if the last full word is spelled Fajance, that means "Faience" or Earthenware". I thought it was spelled Fajange at first glance, though.
Midwinter Pottery was located in Burlsem, U.K., which is about 50 miles from Flint, U.K.
It's possible that it was from another pottery, and "Midwinter" was the pattern name, although that doesn't seem to match the flowers.
