I need help with ID on 2 Lovely Plates

Hello I have a gold rimmed Poppy Plate unsigned with poppies on the back..size 8"..do you know the maker? Also I have a very heavy 10" Chinese Plate with raised design..trying to find the year or maker and what kind of finish do you call this plate?  Thankyou for all help.

the maker's mark of the first is likely covered by the decoration on the back.  that usually means the decoration was done by a second factory or individual.  maker and decorator impossible to ID

the second is so new (last 20-30 years or so) that who made it or when is not significant or likely known.
