I found some more of these with the mysterious crown over a ribbon with M-C mark. I've seen wash sets, owl umbrella stands, and now these, all with the same blue or pink sort of wiped or airbrushed look. The logical answer is Chinese, but one item also had H-13 U.S.A. on it!
