Anyone familiar with Baldelli Pottery Owls help please

I have been going through some boxes I had packed away and found this guy.  Does anyone know if Baldelli made string holders?  He looks just like the banks, but is not signed on the bottom.  Thanks for any help.  He's 5.25 inches tall.

I don't think it's Baldelli. The MCM Baldelli owls, cats, lions, etc. were (and continue to be) very popular with collectors bringing top dollar...so knock offs/one offs exist in large numbers.
