Why eBay removed photos of completed auctions?

How soon after the end of the auction?
EBay purges a lot of information after 90 days. Some seems to be removed earlier.
I believe pictures take a lot of bandwidth.

Before I was able to see any completed items from my browser for 90 days, but not anymore
