Hey every one well i was wondering these ebay stores do i need one or can i just keep listing like i have been . I currently have about 233 or around there should i get a store or no ?

If you want features like the ability to run a markdown sale and run other promotions, you can get a Starter Store. Some sellers really want those features and you may or may not be one of them.

My personal opinion is if you're hovering around 250 listings, you're fine without a store. You get 250 free insertions per month. When your number of listings is high enough, insertion fees over a certain number will no longer make financial sense without upgrading to a Basic Store. With the Basic you'll get a lot more insertions, all the promotion options, ability to organize items into your own categories, send out store newsletters, plus you'll get a modest quarterly shipping supply coupon.

Don't forget: also lower final value fees.  In most categories, the savings is very small, especially compared to the monthly fee for a Basic store, but in  few categories the savings can be substantial so it depends on what you're listing.  Another consideration is your listing limits, which are not affected when you sign up for a store.
