Clueless About Antique Coverlets..help please :)

I have 5 antique coverlets and I know absolutely nothing about what they are called or how to date them. Hope someone can help with this first one....

It's a Jacquard coverlet. It would have been woven by a "fancy" weaver" as opposed to woven at home because the pattern could not be done on a home loom. These were done throughout the 19th C. so hard to date. If you Google Jacquard coverlet you will find some information, although not all you find will be accurate.

There is a fair amount of information out there. You can post here and I will try but nose around the internet and see what you can find.

In any case, be forewarned, coverlets do not bring very much money. 😞
