Hello, the new Ebay Motors vehicle search is impossible! I want to search for a particular make and model, and particular years. If there are zero results, I would like to save the search so that if someone creates a post for that vehicle I will get an email. It won't let me do that. I did manage to save a search for the particular model years, but it deleted the make and model so that I get an email for EVERY make and model of those particular model years! It used to work fine, now it's a disaster. I want to save a search for the exact make, model, and year range I'm looking for, whether or not there are any current results!

There seem to be problems with browsing cars by era, or using the Vehicle Find tool lately.
You can report issues by using the "Feedback" / "Comment" / "?" on the right side of most eBay pages, or the "Tell us what you think" link on the search results page to provide feedback to eBay page developers.
As a workaround, try searching by keyword, then using the search filters on the left side of the search results to choose the years. To browse the whole category, try searching using the category name as your search keywords.

If you are searching for a specific vehicle, the filters on the left side of the search results will show you options of current listings, making it hard to set up a general search if there are none of those model years currently available without fiddling with the search URL manually. Normally the Vehicle Find tool can handle that, but it seems to be problematic lately.

As a person who has used ebay almost since inception, I'd have to agree. Search is broken. I wanted to look for a used truck but alI I get is truck parts. I have quit selling on eBay entirely after posting items for sale that even I could not find. The lising process is a misery, with eBay inserting more scams and tricks to bleed me for an extra dime.

This thread originally involved problems with the Vehicle Find tool, but the tool seems to be working for me now.
If you are searching for trucks and seeing parts, your search is probably not limited to the Cars & Trucks category.
Try this search as a starting point:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=cars+%26+trucks&_sacat=0&_from=R40
From there you should be able to use the Vehicle Find tool to search specific makes, models or years.
Or, if you want to see all listings in the category including the keyword truck, try this search:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/6001/i.html?_nkw=truck&_from=R40
Or the keyword pickup, try this:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=pickup&_sacat=6001
