That is correct, you cannot block a user from contacting you.

It sounds like you have already added this member to your blocked list. If you have go to "Account">"Site Preferences" and click "Buyer requirements" and chose "Edit". Scroll to the bottom and check this:

Well, I know of at least one long term eBay seller who has their very own pen-pal whom eBay says: "We can't do anything". Maybe internally the block works, but not externally once they have your email address.

No, eBay can't help when the member is emailing you. Your email provider should have an option you can use to block that member's email address.

My buddy has been through this, many times. Other party just sets up a new address.
