I am in need of this part for my 1999 Buick Regal GS.  I don't even know the name of this part and since I'm from a small farming town none of my mechanic friends even know. This part is located just behind the Igition Lock Cyclender.What's the name of this part

Try Googling "Regal exploded steering column image". I tried, started going blind.

I "think" that is the "connector" between the ignition switch and the ignition switch rod.

This part is unique to the GLE package also shared with Volvo for their 1987 model.

It sends a signal to the right front wheel when you release the key.  The right front wheel then uses a type of radar signal to detect your distance from the curb.
