It's a Christmas miracle. it is only -14 C and windchill of -22 C. The warmest in DAYS.....

Merry Christmas from the frozen North Atlantic. We are snowed in and loving it. I'm not going out at all today because there is more stuff coming. I'll wait until tomorrow to dig out. My back is still killing me too, spasms.

Yea, Merry Christmas too. No snow here at the moment, but we did get to just hang around the house, and everyone else came here. I hate muscle spasms!! Hope relaxing helps you Pete. Here is hoping the best for you all and less health issues in the coming year!

47c here today and at almost 10pm it is slightly under 40, wind has been hot and strong all day, the air conditioner is getting a real workout, been running 4 days strait, NEED rain and cool, summer sucks.

My next door neighbor said when he got off work in the wee hours it was something like -51 and the North Pole was only -8.

It is a little cold here right now, 10 deg F (-12 C), colder than the North Pole, Oi ... It was warmer during the day, but tonight it is going to be cold. We have a fireplace in the living room, and have been keeping the fire running all day. It does a nice job heating this part of the house, and we enjoy the fire.

Finally we are back in the world. Lost our power this morning rght after breakfast. Had a 38cm blizzard last night and very high winds. Can you say 5ft high drifts across the driveway and -35C wind chill? We froze in the house and out. Finally just as I was about to put the snoblower away......you know who showed up. That plow driver just waits around the corner for me to finish. When we finished the power was back on. Whoopppeeeee!!!!!! Now I can relax and watch some football and warm up. Meanwhile......my back is sore again. Time for a hot toddy or two.....or three.....;)
