Good for you, shame it's not a Ford though, then again we really don't have Chev only Crumbledoors not what I would ever consider buying, I'll keep running my Ford till either it drops or I drop. ]:)

Congrats Pete. Good to hear that the repair reversed itself and another dealer gave you a lot more for offer. Probably 'cause the Ford dealership knows your car well from its many visits and knows it couldn't unload that piece of shit. As far as the Ford comments, there's only 2 good fords made nowadays... the wicked GT and F series trucks.

Congrat's Pete. Just don't put a number 8 and Budweiser on the side of it. It's also possible that if it is the four cyclinder it maybe a Saturn engine. Chevy started using them when they came out with the Cobalt. Lou

Nice going Dad, but I would have pushed for a new 'Vette! They do come equipped with a trunk now days. With a little bit of Italian convincing, you could have passed it off as a station wagon.;) CJ]:)

2L DOHC 4 cyl 119HP Chevy engine, not Saturn 4 wheel power disc brakes Power everything including heated side mirrors Deluxe interior w/power sun roof List $24,244; I didn't pay near that much. Ford would give me $500 trade, Chevy gave me $2500 The Focus wagons available were all the cheap entry models and Kim would not go for those. She likes luxury. Besides, I'm a Chevy man. Always have been. B-)

after you having one focus that was a turd, I'd be surprised if you would take one in wagon form. Now you have good reliable wheels, you can build and transport your coffee table layout to visit Ernie.

Raining today so no pics of the new wheels. Here's a web site for you if you are interested in the specs. Notice the price difference since this is in US dollars and of course the Canadian price is more. http://www.gmcanada.com/gm/english/vehicles/chevrolet/optra/model02 I'm having to read the manual today to figure out some of the features. I noticed that after about 45 seconds, the car automatically locks itself. So what happens if you have left your keys inside? I'm wondering if it is supposed to do that really. Well, it will be a learning experience. B-)

Sorry to say I am a Chrysler man, but would drive a bowtie again if the right car came around. I would not drive a found on the road dead. Besides Chrysler just came out with a lifetime warranty on the new vehicles. Lou

You wouldn't want what they pass off as Chrysler here, I'll stick to my Ford no matter what name you come up with for the letters, most of the best cars I have owned are Ford, and believe me, I have had a few. ]:)

Hello to one and all. Greetings from Holland I am now recovering from my byepass operation. Thank you all for your previous best wishes. As I am in this New purchase Discussion, It is to say, I am now changing over to Steam Locomotives of the English railroad system.1948 onto Nationalisation, and up to the withdrawel of steam from the UK about 1968. I hope soon to have some photos to tender for your approval. Most of my Locos are new, but have been stored by previous collectors from new. I am also staying with the London Midland Scottish region.(LMS) They also have not been run in. Once again, glad to be with you all once more. Chips (John).
