2008 Spring Contest

Here it is boys and girls: You are looking at a 34' N scale, 34' HO scale and a 34' O scale Overton Combine car. Question: How many bodies of the N cars will fit into the body of the HO and the O scale cars? Your answer will consist of two numbers, one for each scale. Clear? Only one answer for each member please. Contest will end at midnight ebay time Saturday April 26th, 2008. Prize will be an N scale car to be determined by me. Have fun and use your head. I just figured if the N car was just the body, no trucks or roof and you stacked them in sideways it sort of might be close to my guesses, guess I was wrong though. ]:)

Have you guys figured out yet that this is really a math problem? Oh, I'm so nasty...... Measuring the inside dimensions of the O and HO scale cars and the outside dimensions of the N scale car, I came up with the folowing cubic inch volumes: O inside = 21.09 ci. HO inside = 4.6367ci. N outside = .9997 ci. Therefore the N into the HO = 4.638 cars by volume and the N into the O = 21.09 cars by volume. But that is not the real problem is it. Confused even more now? I hope so.
