I concur, the update is horrible...the developers need to use the app, I bet it would be much different. Better yet, sellers need their own app. I use a different account for buying and I can't use it for impulse buys.

Thanks for the post. Do you have any details on what is bad with the app? This latest update should not have had any major changes. Please let us know.

Hi, I too think the new version is terrible. 

On the sold items screen, as an item is dispatched, it just sits there and wont disappear from the list until the screen is refreshed.

Also any listings with a multi choice, previously if you tapped the item it would show you which version had sold, now there is nothing, just the title page, so the only way to see which item version sold is to log in on the laptop.

This is only currently an issue on iOS as I can log in on an android device and I still see the older version which works correctly.

Thanks for reporting. Are you using the camera to take photos when listing or are you using previously taken photos. Are you having the trouble on wifi or cellular?

Hi, it's not a missing picture, it's the fact that when you tap a sold item that is from a multi choice listing, it doesnt show you which variant has sold, purely staying on the multi listing main picture.

I’ve reported same issue twice in last 6 months. It used to work perfectly then after an update, any sales I make on my multi listings no longer show me what selection the buyer made. What helped me is Im lucky to have individual photos of each item and in notifications of the actual sale, it shows the correct photo of the items selected, albeit they’re tiny but I screenshot the notifications and match the order from that. Saves me asking the customers all the time as they don’t always reply right away and it also comes across as pretty unprofessional. I’ve also suffered the issue of my photos  continuously crashing as Im uploading to a new listing. This has been happening for about a year, ever since they changed to the current photo file format. Whole app crashes and closes as Im cropping my photos. Totally slow and frustrating process

My best  of luck to anyone who uses the phone for this website. I refuse to do so because of all the problems. I won't even use a tablet. Just don't trust them. Only my desktop and laptop computers.

Sure, below is 2 screenshots of my multi listing sold items. You can see below if a buyer purchases one item, it shows their selection clearly. But if they purchase 2 or more, it shows nothing. Both these screenshots below show a single purchase and a multiple purchase. If they buy 3, it will only show one of their selections and the other 2 blank. However in the notifications of the sale it shows a mini photo if the choices they selected which is what I have to use to work it all out. This means I have to screenshot the notification page and then go into my multi listing and see which ones could match the exact photo.

Crashing issue, this happens every single time Im uploading photos to a new listing. The photos upload just fine mostly, but Ive learned not to pre-crop them first as I get a message something like “couldn’t upload, file size needs to be minimum......”. So I upload all 12 pics as is, then crop them perfectly using ebay photo edit/crop. This is where it crashes. It will do a couple photos, then start freezing and crash. Once it freezes I cannot do anything but await the crash (about 30 seconds), then I have to reopen the ebay app, the listing is always there in drafts and I proceed editing the photos so I can list it. Happens every time, with every single listing unfortunately. And it only began doing this approx a year or so ago when ebay changed to this current photo format. The old one was faster and didn’t crash

Ps- I forgot to add that Im using my photo library. I take a bunch of photos of the item Im selling, select the best 12, then upload as is. Then once uploaded I start to crop them all perfectly around the item. This is because if i take the photo too close, it tends to produce 85% blurry photos (an iphone issue that causes the camera zoom to  continuously move in and out of focus). So I found it better to just take the photos at a slight distance ( about a foot away) and then upload and crop using ebay photo editor. But its a slow process when it crashes each time
