Why do I have to input my credit card details on every single purchase?

With the advent of the payment changes by eBay, it’s seems they didn’t plan for the app. If I want to use a card, you have to input the card every single time you purchase (why)❓ quite the pain in the backside.

If you go into the Payments section of my ebay in the app you should be able to save your cards for payment.
