Unable to get the app to load - April 1st update total flop!

I just discovered the App Store update of April first is completely locked on the opening page and no icons or buttons operate at all. I have been through years of updates, mostly Android, but now iOS and have never gotten one absolutely useless like this one.

Thank you for the report. Can you please delete the app, restart your device and then re-install. It sounds like something is not quite right with the upgrade.

Sure, I'm game, I will try that. My download was through cellular, and the same day I chose several large updates in series.

Ya since the update you can no longer respond d to messages in your inbox. I can’t even use my cell browser to go on eBay because that hasn’t been updated to work on cel browsers, I have to find a computer somewhere to be able to do half the stuff on eBay that we can’t do on the app or mobile browser.

I cannot find a way to delete the eBay app on my iPhone in order to reload a functioning version. All help links send me in circles, this ought to be simple as pie.

I can't find how to delete the app. I have not had the need in 6 months with an iPhone.
I miss android- so simple. Help links are infuriating me with anything but a answer to this simple need.

I can always enter eBay through browser, but I really enjoy certain aspects of the app and desire to reload a functioning version.

For heavens sake, I was looking in all the wrong places for delete function. I have "fingered" it out now!
