Unable to get collection codes through the app

When I press on the option to get a collection code on the order screen on the (Android) app nothing happens. I can get one through the web interface on a computer so this seems to be specific to the app. I know I can get the 6-digit code from the order email but if the link is in the app it would be good if it worked.

I believe I'm on the latest version of the app (updated June 8th) and it's running on Android 11. The seller I most recently had this with said they'd had other buyers tell them the same thing.

Did you get a satisfactory answer from ebay? Months later, this issue still persists. Do these people not test their own software? It can't be that difficult to see nothing happens when you press the Get collection code button. Amazon must have got bigger than ebay for a reason.
