Sign in not working on eBay app

Hello, I’m hoping for some help since I’ve exchanged several emails with ebay support and it hasn’t been helpful so far. 

 

About two days ago I changed my username and since then I have not been able to sign into the eBay app on either my iPhone or my iPad. I AM able to open Safari and sign in just fine there. I have done several things to troubleshoot the issue to no avail. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app a few times, I’ve cleared all web history and “stored” login and password associated with ebay in my “settings”, I’ve tried changing my password, I’ve tried logging in with my username, then I tried with my email address, and then with “Apple sign in”...but none of those things have resolved my problem. I still get the message: “We ran into a problem. Please try again later.” each time I try to use the app. Again, I can open a browser and sign in without any issues - but I’m missing all of the notifications that the app used to give me (and consequently missing some auctions and items). 

Also, I have not changed my iPhone or my iPad (or the operating system) in the last two days, and the app is the same link that I first downloaded about a month and a half ago when I first started to use it (with zero issues). 🤷🏻‍♀️

 

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for reporting this. Is balsammie the new account ID? Could you email us a screen shot of the error you are getting in the app to iosfeedback@ebay.com.
