Selling on mobile app - PLEASE HELP!

I list 99.9% of my items using the mobile app, and 99.9% of the items I sell are sports trading cards. My issue is that I went to list cards today (while not listing any the last few days), and it is taking me 3-4 times longer to list each card. Please please please tell me these changes, the extra item specifics, the double and triple redundancy, the lack of options to choose from are NOT permanent. I truly do not have the time to list cards if it remains like this. Please someone from eBay tell me this is a test or pilot or something.

Also, after I list the card, the app STILL says there are Item Specifics Missing???

Boy have you been missing all of the fun today.  Sports cards, collectables, books & music have all undergone these lovely changes.

Here is one of the post & thread regarding the topic.  This one is for music but you can find many for the book category as well.

Lol that is not my definition of fun. Seems so ridiculous that soon (already started with Magic and Pokémon or Yugio) eBay is taking a potential big step forward making selling cards easier by the automated photo listing through the app....BUT... then taking a huge step backward by making it take 3-4 times as long for app sellers to list their cards. I’m not saying this as a threat of any kind I know I’m just a little guy, but there is no way I can continue selling on eBay if what I’m seeing today is here to stay. I truly do not understand the logic here at all.

Oh wow!   And I thought eBay was making all of these horrible changes to make things easier for the phone users...

They changed our classic all selling page format b/c the new format is easier/better for phone users.  Same thing with the purchase history page etc. a few years ago.

I and many other sellers still use PC/laptops...and here I thought that they were doing this for the phone group...

Well, if it isn't helping your group, and it's definitely not helping our group...which group is this all helping???   The buyer group?  Probably.  Welcome to our corner of the eBay world.  Us PC/laptop sellers have been enduring all of eBay's horrible changes for a while now...join the club...🤢

Sorry...😔

Lol it doesn't seem to be a club I want to be in. Now that I have an office job I do a little bit of desktop eBay now too, I just do all of my listing on the app, because that's where my pictures are and it's more versatile to list on the go.

I don't know if the changes are better for buyers either, my sales are way down, and I've been scouring these forums and the buys are **bleep** too because all of the categories are consolidated (aka GONE). I do a fair amount of sports card buying on eBay too and the avenues I use to find what I am looking for have been changed. Quick example- I'll go to a sellers eBay store, they sell many types of cards, I am only interested in basketball, so I normally would filter out all of the other stuff, well now, ALL sports cards in said sellers store is lumped under Trading Card Singles, no longer able to filter by sport or anything, so frustrating!!
