Receiving payment issues

I had an item sell and it will not process because your new “payment” payroll thing will not go into my PayPal account that I’ve been used for a long time.

I do not feel comfortable putting my bank account and info in any selling app.

what can I do to reiceve my payment so I can properly ship it out to buyer. If this can’t be resolved I will have to cancel this transaction and that process takes a while

Since you are in Managed Payments, your funds no longer go to Pay Pal.

In order to be paid, you have to sign up for MP, providing a checking account and your SSN.

Have a great day.

You can accept the payment directly without using ebays managed payments system if you like. All you have to do is message the buyer to let them know of the situation and work out an alternative payment. Ebay is probably trying to have the customer paypal them instead of you, but you can still request payment directly through paypal or zelle or cashapp, or postal money order, or any other payment method you both choose.

As per ebays user agreement, the contract is between buyer and seller and ebay is not party to it. Also, you have the right to refuse their advice, as stated in section 2.

You can ignore ken, he frequently shills the message boards in favor of ebays managed payments system but hes just here to convince you to pay ebay.

Under no circumstances do you have to give anyone but social security your SSN.
