My card was charged but the purchase was not completed.

I tried to make a purchase of approximately 300 dollars, when I paid my card was charged but the application showed that the transaction could not be completed, I went to "purchases" and there was no record of any purchase. I made the payment again and now I was able to complete the purchase but now I have two charges of 300 dollars and I was never refunded the money for the first purchase.

The first charge is probably a hold put on the funds and should be removed when the payment is completed.
