Latest app update locks app when replying to messages.   6.61.0

Hi @red53gmc! Will you give us a little more detail about what you're running into? Are you going to my ebay and then messages to reply, or are you going from a notification and then replying?

Edit to add an additional question: Are you in the new chat messages or the email style?

This happens to me aswell, updates this morning and everything I reply to a message, the app just locks up, so I have to close the app and reopen just to use the app again, I’m still on the old style messaging atm because the new style when I tried it was bad, the message does get sent but you can’t use the app after, see screenshot attached

I’m going to my eBay and then messages…evidently I’m on the old style. I just saw the “try it now” for the new style so I’ll give it a whirl.

Same problem here. Using old style messaging within the app, and when I hit “send” both the “cancel” and “send” buttons grey-out and the app freezes. 

Have to quit the app and re-open it to be able to do anything after sending the message. 

Really inconvenient bug.

Happens to me. I’m running an iPad Pro with latest updates for both iPad and eBay. Both send and cancel are greyed out and the the only solution is to turn off the iPad and turn back on - not ideal.

it does seem though that the reply to the message does get sent, even though it locks up.

Yes , Im so annoyed because of this . Massage box is freezing when i press send then i have to close the whole app and open again also there is a -Try new massage -system but after pressing it it shows something went wrong and now no massage box and now i cannot massage with anyone i can only reply incoming massages (can fixed by reinstalling App) 

but it is big run .now im using my Desktop to Chat with my buyers. and my Android Device . IOS Ebay app is full of Bugs and Hope our Development team will fix this Bug soon enough . waiting for new update
