Can’t select payment option on app

Suddenly, I was asked to select my payment option when bidding on an item. I tried. But after trying to select PayPal on BOTH my iPhone and iPad, the keyboard wouldn’t appear and I couldn’t access my keychain to log in. What did you do to the app this week?

Did you put a credit card number on file? Either that or a debit card will work. It's not asking for how to pay. Its wants a credit card number.

Nope. My information was already on file. For some reason, eBay made a change forcing me to again specify which payment form I wanted to use. But the interface was very vague, so I had to muddle my way through it. And it didn’t apply to Buy It Now auctions, just live auctions, for some reason. Just another eBay app change that came without warning.
