Can’t log into eBay

I have items listed for sale and I cannot log into eBay it says an update is required. But will not update when I click on the update button. How ridiculous to stop people using their account!   what is this about? EBay must rectify this situation as if my items sell I cannot get details to post the items please help!!! Urgently!!!
