Adding picture to message

When adding picture to the message and choosing to use  camera roll, the application access pictures and show not from most recent photo taken but from middle of my camera roll pictures and I always have to  scroll to the very top to upload recently taken picture.

Can you fix this?

I'm using iphone 8 plus with ios 12.1.
