eBay App - cannot delete old purchases

Recently when clicking on the Purchases section of the eBay App I now see a grayed out list of 170 purchases I made between April of 2018 and Sept of 2015 ... with no way to swipe to remove them or even click to look at them. They ALL say the items "UNAVAILABLE" - well yeah of course they are since they are old listings! Recent items that I've already received, left feedback for, and Hidden on the main website are not shown here, only this old stuff.
How do I get rid of it ... I think it is an app glitch rather than a feature.
