Using Seller Sourcebook templates after the ebay Oct 2017 updates

In the past I used to use Seller Sourcebook templates to list my auctions prior to the ebay October 2017 updates. Is this still possible, or does ebay treat such listings as noncompliant? SSB states that they have removed all active content from their templates, however, I have noticed that not many sellers are using this service after the Oct 2017 changes, and are just typing a a simple description and uploading a handful of photos. Could it be that any seller still using the SSB listing templates are being sorted out of the ebay search?
