General advice

Hello,

Looking for advice here.

I have bought a golf club from a seller and it arrive all in good time but I think it's not as described. Its condition is used I understand that but think ether iv been duped by a very clever seller or I should keep my case for a refund open?

The photos were very cleverly taken as to not show any marking on the club face but the looking at the club face there is more than average wear on the club face. Also the club head cover is not in a good condition and is not the one from the photo.

I have contacted the seller about these concerns and his reply is that it's a used club deal with it and the club head cover was new when he posted it so iv damaged it myself.

I asked for a good will gesture to cover the fact he has lied about the condition of the club. Roughly 6% of the overall cost and he has said no.

He agreed to a refund but then said no because I have asked for the postage money as well. I didnt know you could break down a refund to not include the postage. I offered to donate the postage cost to charity and he says no he doesn't believe me. He incidentally has charged me 3 times the postage cost for the club as its marked on the package that arrived.

His latest response was he is happy to wait this one out and if its rules in my favour I will pay the postage anyway so enjoy waiting for ebay to sort this one out I'm in no rush...

I genuinely want to know if there is anything I can do other than wait on this seller who clearly ether knows the system very well or is hoping I give up on the claim.

Any answer welcome.
